CAR TEXTURING & RENDERING
This project I was given a car model that then needed to be textured and rendered realistically in two different scenes, a studio environment as well as an exterior environment. To recreate a realistic car texture I wanted to get the glitter specs that you see under the gloss on a metallic car paint therefore I used alSurface shaders for Arnold as this gave me the chance to use multiple specular layers which I could use to recreate the desired effect. Unfortunately like in real life the effect is only really visible at close up but you are still able to see it on some edges of the car where the light is hitting. Programs used in the process of this project were: Autodesk Maya Arnold for Maya alSurface for Arnold Adobe Photoshop
