BOOKER
Booker is a group project we had to create while in our second year of university. Its short about a guy training his robot to box, the idea was taken from the feature film 'Real Steel' which there is a scene where the main character is training his robot. The idea was first storyboarded and then made in to an animatic. We then had team work on the design and modeling of the robot that will be the focus of the film, we wanted it to look like he had been in fights before and had dents and rust to show his age. The team I was apart of was compositing the CG robot in to the scene which consisted of tracking and stabilizing the footage we had recorded as well as making the robot look realistic within the shot.
